Upcoming Simulation Feature


In the real world early civilizations were more successful in arable agriculture land and less successful generally in inhospitable terrain,

to emulate this a new terrain system is being worked on, one that gives some types of terrain more resources than others:

green is arable land areas while yellow is desert land

above shows the simulation being run with polities in arable land tiles being more successful. This is because arable land provides them more resources of which they can use to conquer opponents. 

Of course this is a very basic implementation and history is far more complicated, so it will be fun slowly adding complexity to this project.
